The best way to feel ready for the October PSAT is to practice with questions that match the real test in style, timing, and difficulty. This bank has 120 questions total: 75 Math questions and 45 Reading & Writing questions, evenly split across Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty. We modeled every question on the College Board’s own Educator Question Bank and Khan Academy’s PSAT resources, so what you see here mirrors the actual test.

How We Calibrated Difficulty

Easy

Single-step. Direct application of one concept. The kind of question a well-prepared student should answer confidently in under a minute.

Medium

Two steps or two concepts combined. Requires interpretation, a word problem, or careful reading. Roughly half of test-takers get these right.

Hard

Multi-step reasoning, parameter finding, subtle grammar distinctions, or inference across two texts. These are the questions that separate top scorers.
