About the Instructor
Hi! My name is Morgan! I graduated from UT Austin and am now a fourth-year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine with an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry. I have completed my medical school coursework and am excited about the opportunity to pursue my passion for teaching and tutor in my hometown! I have experience tutoring at multiple levels, including serving as an academic tutor for UT Austin, working as a private test prep tutor, taught students with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the HEROES program, and led STEM and career-readiness sessions for middle school students. When I am not teaching, I like to bake, crochet, read, and hang out with my cat, Olive.
I believe students learn best when they feel supported, motivated, and understood as individuals. My approach is a mix of structure and flexibility: I adapt sessions to each student’s learning style, strengths, and goals while keeping expectations clear and manageable. I aim to make challenging material feel approachable by breaking concepts down, celebrating progress, and building effective study habits. Above all, I hope to inspire curiosity and a genuine passion for learning that lasts well beyond any exam.
