About the Instructor
I joined Victory Step because of my passion to help students of all socioeconomic classes obtain the scores and training that they need to succeed and to pursue the higher education and careers of their dreams. I also think the SAT/ACT is fun. As the son of two public schoolteachers, I know that productive teaching flourishes in an encouraging environment, and you’ll find me enthusiastic, patient, agreeable, and, importantly, motivated to help you establish your own problem-solving framework. I’m currently a medical student at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in the Medical Scientist Training Program (M.D./Ph.D), and I’m passionate about the intersection between medicine and basic scientific research, hoping to pursue a career as a physician-scientist. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude in 2015 from the University of Pennsylvania with a master’s degree in chemistry and with bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and biophysics. When I’m not tutoring or studying, I enjoy playing tennis, racquetball, and piano and experimenting in the kitchen.
