I joined Victory Step because I love tutoring and being a teacher, and Victory Step is a great place for me to do what I love. I like being a tutor because it gives me the opportunity to share tips and tricks that make learning easier, and it feels great to see my students succeed. I love spending time with adolescents, whether it is as a teacher for Victory Step, or at my other job in a teen drug rehab facility. In my free time I like to swim or mountain bike, or if it’s cold or rainy outside I like to read. During my experience as a tutor, students have loved working with me because I understand how incredibly boring their work can be sometimes, and I do my best to help them get through the boring stuff, learn the important stuff, and feel good about themselves afterward. One of my many accomplishments as a tutor is that I am so friendly and talkative that my students can’t help but to laugh and enjoy themselves.

Favorite Joke - A guy walks into a bar. He asks the bartender, "Do you have any helicopter flavored potato chips?" The bartender shakes his head and says, "No, we only have plain.”
