About the Instructor
I am originally from Maryland and moved to Houston to go to college. I played on my college’s rugby team and cycled on our cycling team as well. After college, I did Teach for America and taught second grade for three years. After teaching, I became a college counselor at a local high school. I love to cycle long distances and run as well. I have biked from Maryland to Maine and from San Francisco to Portland, Oregon. I have joined Victory Step to help students make their dreams come true after high school and to go to their dream college. College can be such a pivotal time in students’ lives, and I want to make sure that students have as many options as possible in choosing a college.
